Regular Conversation is on  “Whisper Level” and Movement is on “Seated Quietly”.
Other activity expectations are:

ENTERING THE MEDIA CENTER


Enter silently with pretzel hugs and quiet bubbles. Line should be in A-B-C order.
(This is also table sea order.) Leave books at Book Drop
Backpacks on chairbacks
(No breaks)
Do not use table materials.
Walk (or go back and try again.)


Others may be using the media center and working.

CHECK OUT


1.    Push in chair.
2.    Move about to bookshelves, WALKING, NEVER running.
3.    Choose a book. Return it to its spot in the book neighborhood if you decide you’re not interested.
4.    Stand in line quietly. Your turn to talk will be when you are having your book “beeped”. Noisies go to the end of the line.
5.    Sit in a comfy spot and read quietly.


“Is this book JUST RIGHT 4 ME?”
“Do I need a resource for a project?”

MEDIA MINON TEACHER HELPER


Pass out supplies as needed. Collect books. Shelve Easy Reader picture books in A-B-C order. Shelve paperbacks by genre. Tidy tables. Sharpen as needed. Remind friends to pick up their things, underneath tables, organize supplies.
